Is there a free plan or trial?+
No. Lightshot is paid only. You choose a weekly, monthly or yearly plan, create your Lightshot account and confirm the payment with Apple before you use the app. Creating the account on its own never charges you.
When am I charged?+
Your subscription is charged when you confirm the purchase with Apple. It renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before. Apple shows your local price before you subscribe.
Do all three plans include the same features?+
Yes. All three plans include voice-following, retakes, auto edit, captions and translation, the video editor and brand kit, demo takes, two-iPhone prompting, Watch and Bluetooth remote controls, exports and available posting integrations. Only the billing period and price differ. Device requirements and network approvals still apply.
How do I change or cancel my subscription?+
In your iPhone’s Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Lightshot. From there you can choose a different plan or tap Cancel Subscription. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and paid access normally continues to the end of the period you’ve paid for.
Does deleting the app or my account cancel my subscription?+
No. Deleting the app or your Lightshot account doesn’t cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel it in your iPhone’s Settings under Subscriptions as well.
Can I use one subscription on more than one iPhone?+
Yes. The subscription belongs to your Lightshot account, and Lightshot’s server checks each purchase with Apple. Sign in to the same account on each iPhone. Scripts, takes and edits remain local to the phone where you made them; signing in does not sync those files.
Can I get a refund?+
Refunds for App Store purchases are decided by Apple. In Lightshot, Settings › Help and support › Ask Apple for a refund opens Apple’s Report a Problem page, where you can make the request.
Can every iPhone use every feature?+
Lightshot needs iOS 26.5 or later. Recording and export sizes, Apple Intelligence tools, speech recognition and translation depend on the device or supported languages. The optional Watch remote needs watchOS 26.0 or later and the paired iPhone recorder open. Posting depends on approved, configured network connections.
