How the plans work
Plans cost $3.99 weekly, $9.99 monthly or $59.99 yearly in US dollars. Every plan includes every feature. There is no free plan or trial; check the pricing page for the plan comparison.
You choose a plan, create a Lightshot account with Sign in with Apple, then confirm payment with Apple. The subscription renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Settings › Account shows your plan and renewal date.
Cancel through Apple
- In Lightshot, open Settings › Account › Manage subscription. The same link is in Help and support.
- Alternatively, open iPhone Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
- Select Lightshot and tap Cancel Subscription. Review the status Apple displays.
Apple’s cancellation instructions say that no Cancel button, or a red expiration message, means the subscription is already canceled. If you cannot find it, check which Apple Account appears on the receipt. These instructions were checked September 27, 2026.
Deleting Lightshot or deleting your Lightshot account does not cancel the Apple subscription. Cancel it separately before removing anything you need to keep.
If a paid plan is missing
Use Restore purchases on the paywall or in Settings › Account, and check that you are signed into the intended Lightshot account. Account access and your locally stored recordings are different: signing into a subscription on another iPhone does not transfer the takes on this phone.
Refund requests go to Apple. For an access problem after restoring, contact Lightshot support with the error message and relevant receipt details, without sending account passwords or payment-card information.
