Start the request

  1. In Lightshot, open Settings › Help and support › Ask Apple for a refund.
  2. Sign in to Apple’s report-a-problem service with the Apple Account used for the purchase.
  3. Under I’d like to, choose Request a refund. Select a reason and continue.
  4. Select the Lightshot subscription charge, then submit the request.

Apple’s refund instructions cover eligibility, missing purchases and checking request status. Apple says to allow 24 to 48 hours for an update; approval and return of funds are separate steps. Checked September 27, 2026.

If the purchase is missing

Find the receipt from Apple and check the account and charge. If the charge is still pending, Apple says to wait for the receipt before requesting a refund. Sign in with the account shown on that receipt, which may differ from the one you first tried.

Refund eligibility varies by country or region and the circumstances of the purchase. Submitting a request does not guarantee approval. Lightshot cannot decide the result on Apple’s behalf.

Stop renewal separately if needed

Follow the cancellation steps if you no longer want renewal. Removing the app or deleting your account does not perform that cancellation.

If a technical problem prompted the request, tell Lightshot support what happened so it can be investigated. You can report the problem without waiting for Apple’s refund decision.
